April 2014: Newtown Foods USA was one of two vendors to receive the Supplier Excellence Award from Friendly’s Ice Cream. The award was announced at Friendly’s 2014 Ice Cream Convention held at Mohegan Sun Resort in Connecticut. Of course, this award is thanks to our colleagues at Dutch Cocoa who produce cocoa powder of the highest quality while also providing outstanding service. We are very proud of our partnership with the outstanding Friendly’s brand.
August 2012: Dutch Cocoa is a leading manufacturer of all certified products including organic, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance and UTZ. Our organic productions are segregated, sustainable and traceable. Dutch Cocoa’s parent company, Ecom Agroindustrial has been a leader in assuring traceable and sustainable cocoa bean production, uniquely positioning Dutch Cocoa as a reliable supplier for all certified products.
May, 2012: We are excited to introduce 2 new alkalized cocoa powders from Dutch Cocoa. The first is a deep, dark red brown cocoa that will exhibit an intense, rich cocoa taste in both dairy and bakery applications. The second new item is a very dark brown cocoa with a surprisingly smooth cocoa flavor.
March, 2012: Newtown Foods USA is now Fair Trade Certified
